The second in a three-concert debut series, featuring an exploration of Beethoven’s first three symphonies, by vibrant new London group Ensemble Eroica.

Joining the young ensemble is celebrated Australian pianist Leslie Howard, famed for having the honour of being the only person to record the complete works of Liszt. The programme will experiment with programming norms, and the audience are to be introduced by a set of seven songs for soprano (Nika Gorič) and piano (Chad Vindin) by Alban Berg. The evening will conclude with a performance of Beethoven’s Second Symphony, in D major.

 Ensemble Eroica are a vibrant and ‘exhilarating’ new group of young musicians sourced from the UK’s leading music schools. The group have become a leading exponent in the promotion of Britain’s musical talent, having received rave reviews for performances to date.
